At Kaplan University, we’re a different kind of school for a different kind of student. We’ve developed the kind of career-focused curriculum that could help you prepare for today’s competitive workplace, and we’ve also developed a whole new way for you to get to know us.

It’s called the Kaplan Commitment(SM). Here’s how it works:

The Kaplan Commitment lets you try a Kaplan University undergraduate program for a five-week introductory period with no tuition obligation.

You’ll attend real classes for real credits.

During this period, a Kaplan University Financial Aid Advisor will clearly estimate your expected school costs: tuition, books, miscellaneous—everything, including the $45.00 application fee, as well as your financial aid options should you be eligible.

Then decide during our introductory period if we’re right for you. If not, all you owe is the $45.00 application fee.*

Education should be an opportunity. Not a financial risk.

*Classes will count toward a student’s degree if satisfactorily completed. The introductory period is five weeks and begins day one of the student’s first academic term. If at any point during the introductory period a student chooses to opt out, he or she will have no other obligation to the University except for the application fee.  Only available to undergraduate students; graduate students are not eligible.

Kaplan University provides special support services for our military students, including a flexible deployment policy and consideration of military training experience and prior coursework for college credit.* The undergraduate tuition rate has been reduced up to 55 percent per quarter credit hour for active-duty servicemembers and reservists. For veterans, undergraduate tuition is reduced up to 38 percent per quarter credit hour. Kaplan University also offers reduced tuition rates on graduate programs and for military spouses. Kaplan University participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Consortium (SOC).
