Saybrook University is accredited by the Senior Commission of Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a regional accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education and by the State of California. Saybrook participates in a regularly scheduled re-accreditation process conducted by the Senior Commission of WASC.”The Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities” is responsible for the evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of colleges and universities offering the baccalaureate degree and above in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Basin.”

The free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as the single application for financial aid at Saybrook University. Students who complete the application are considered for federal, state, and university student financial aid programs.  You can call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1.800.4.FED.AID (1.800.433.3243) with questions about the FAFSA or about federal student financial aid in general. The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Accounting, Associate of Arts with a concentration in Foundations of Business, Bachelor of Science in Business, Master of Business Administration, Master of Management, Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Management programs are programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (acbsp.org).

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs at University of Phoenix are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccneaccreditation).

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Arizona) and the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling (Utah) programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP; cacrep.org).
