The Medical Specialties program at the Ogden campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the American Association of Medical Assistants.

The Surgical Technology program at the Ogden campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST). ARC-ST is sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists.

The Respiratory Therapy program at the Salt Lake City campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

Anyone can go to CollegeAmerica through a variety of financial assistance programs including grants, student loans, and scholarships.

Without obligation we will be happy to provide you with a financial plan showing you available grants and loans. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.

Pell Grant
This grant is determined by the Department of Education and is based on the student's financial need.

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
All students awarded a Pell Grant receive an SEOG Grant, as long as funds are available. The amount of the SEOG Grant is determined by the funding available to the college.

Subsidized Stafford Loan (Federal Student Loan)
Payments for this loan begin 6 months after the student leaves college.
Interest is paid by the government throughout the program and for a six-month grace period after leaving college.

Unsubsidized Stafford Loan (Federal Student Loan)
Payments can begin 6 months after student leaves.
Interest will accrue during the program and the six month grace period.

Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS Loan)
This is a federal loan program that allows parents to borrow low-interest loans for payment of student tuition.

 

 

Accreditation

The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Accounting, Associate of Arts with a concentration in Foundations of Business, Bachelor of Science in Business, Master of Business Administration, Master of Management, Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Management programs are programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (acbsp.org).

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs at University of Phoenix are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccneaccreditation).

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Arizona) and the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling (Utah) programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP; cacrep.org).
